Yes, apparently Jack's life-giving snog is reserved for girls carrying alien entities and pretty teaboys, I have to say though - I really like the idea of Owen being able to be the ultimate cat burglar, what with being dead and all. Next week ought to be interesting, to say the least.

Heh, yeah apparently he loves Owen enough to grope him, and cling to his corpse like a barnacle, and use alien tech to raise from the dead, then keep gropeing his zombie body, but use a known side affect free kiss? Noooooo. Hmpf. Yeah Owen being able to be like, a super thief is cool for a while, but...no drinking, no food, no sex?! And he can't have Ianto's orgasmic coffee! While I'm not digging the whole zombie!Owen business and I don't slash Jack/Owen, I loved, loved, LOVED the bit in the cell from the moment Jack put his hand on Owen's shoulder to the moment Jack said, "Lets go home." I think it makes my Top Five Favorite Torchwood Moments, right between Jack's forgiving Owen at the end of "End of Days" and the Jack/Jack dance at the end of "Captain Jack Harkness". I'd kind of like an icon from the cell scene with the text "Hoping", but I can't decided which shot I'd want the text put on.

I'll be sure to include how you added "Hoping" for me when I upload it into my user pics. ;) I'm not sure how to describe the way I enjoy Jack's rubbing Owen's back while Owen cries at the end of EoD, or his putting his hand on Owen's shoulder and getting his fingers in his hair in DMW... But, I know it makes me feel very good even though I don't see it as lusty/romantic. Maybe it's... it... seems like this complete unconditional platonic love. It's pure love. *Ponders.*

Mm-hmm. And earlier when Owen got sucked into the black, the first time and was all hysterical, and Jack hugged him and rubbed his back, whispering comforting. Just so sweet it hurts, even if you don't ship them or anything.

And I don't ship Jack/Owen really either but there is something so beautiful in their freindship; Especially in DMW, that almost makes me want to ship them but it just seems more pure than that. *ponders*

I'm weird I guess. In nearly every fandom, I have to fall in love with the rarest possible ship. In House MD I ship House/Chase making half the fandom go: "Ewww! Chase has daddy issues! Clearly they have a father/son thing going!" and now here I keep see people going: "Awww Owen and Jack have a father/son big brother type thing going! So cute!" While I sit there going: "Hmm...really? Is my mind just that far in the gutter? I just see porn everywhere.....OMG I'm Jack Harkeness!"

However, i'm a bit more conventional in shipping Jack/Ianto and House/Wilson as my OTP's from Torchwood and House.
House with any of the women is just... *grumbles*... they all annoy me to a certain extent.
