The new crap LiveJournal did to the comment page, and taking away subjects in comments, so you can't find anything, long threads are impossible to read, and just EVERYTHING they've done in this "upgrade"(more like downgrade!) is pissing me the hell off! Along with them totally ignoring the THOUSANDS of angry comments.

Come to Dreamwidth - you can create an account now through the end of the year w/o need of an invite code and you can import your LJ/IJ/else-J... just be a little patient if you try that last one from LJ b/c 8mm other ppl are doing it too. XD

oh - and you can x-post to LJ/IJ/etc too - so ppl who don't leave can still read your stuff.

Yeah, I actually already have, a few hours ago. I already have been following a few comms with the openID thing, but since I heard about the code free account making I jumped full in with making an account(actually playing around with colors in the other tab, trying to find something not eye searing). But the really annoying thing is, everything fandom(or at least my fandoms) is here...soo unless EVERYONE gets pissed and goes over, and doesn't just quit the fandom all together, then I'm still stuck here for fic and fanish stuff.

DW is apparently planning community importing soon - which may move some fandom stuff.

If the comms you follow don't lock posts, you can set up feeds on DW to follow them.

Or, you can use LJ just to follow comms n' stuff. (lots of folks do this now), I only use LJ for reading f'list folks who haven't migrated yet. I do v. v. little commenting/straight posting on LJ.
